The Academy at Aeternum was created to raise standards within medical aesthetics through meaningful, experience-led education. Founded by Stephanie Harding, the academy exists to bridge the gap between clinical qualification and real-world confidence.
Built on the foundations of safety, ethical practice, and sustainable business growth, the academy supports practitioners not only in developing their technical skills, but in building careers they feel proud of. This is education grounded in lived experience – practical, honest, and designed for the realities of modern medical aesthetics.
Philosophy & Teaching Approach
Education at The Academy at Aeternum is grounded in real practice not theory alone. Training is intentionally focused, with small group sizes and a supportive, respectful learning environment where practitioners are treated as individuals, not numbers.
Stephanie is known for her calm and approachable teaching style, alongside a strong emphasis on safety, anatomy, and sound clinical reasoning. Whether supporting V300 prescribing mentorship, clinical shadowing, or professional and business development, the aim is always the same: to develop practitioners who are confident, competent, and ethically grounded.
The academy does not exist to hand out certificates. It exists to build capability.
Students are supported in applying knowledge to real patient scenarios, developing critical thinking, and understanding the wider responsibilities of practising within medical aesthetics. Education is structured, reflective, and aligned with current professional expectations, ensuring learning translates directly into safe, effective practice.
Background & Experience
Founder Led Experience Based Training
Stephanie Harding is a Registered Nurse, Independent Nurse Prescriber, qualified Aesthetic Educator, and CQC Registered Manager. She is the founder of Aeternum Aesthetics and The Academy at Aeternum, having successfully built and led a CQC-registered medical aesthetics clinic from the ground up.
With 15 plus years of hands-on clinical experience, Stephanie combines advanced aesthetic practice with regulatory understanding and leadership insight. Her role as a CQC Registered Manager provides in-depth knowledge of governance, patient safety, accountability, and professional standards – elements that are often overlooked but essential for long-term success.
However, her journey did not stop with clinical qualifications. Coming from a nursing background rather than business, Stephanie experienced first-hand the challenges of transitioning from clinician to clinic owner. Recognising that clinical excellence alone is not enough to sustain a successful practice, she invested heavily in business education, leadership development, and professional coaching.
By applying that knowledge directly within her own clinic, she built and scaled a seven-figure medical aesthetics business. Through that process, she gained invaluable insight into confidence, decision-making, sustainability, leadership, and growth.
The Academy was born from that experience and created to offer the kind of guidance she once searched for herself.
